Images in webpages, websites

Assalamalaikum (peace be upon you) everyone out there!
As is pretty evident even before a muslim utters a word he has to say this whomever he addresses. When peace is emphasized upon so much in Islam I do not understand why some people, both muslims and non-muslims alike are hell-bent upon maligning the Noble and Holy name of Islam for their own petty, selfish gains. Wake up from your slumber and try to wash off the dirty bandage of hatred from your eyes and hearts at least now before it is too late! Please! For the ALMIGHTY'S sake. HE does not need anything from you. And HE created us and the jinn only to worship HIM.
Anyways I wished to bring to your kind attention the presence of images in webpages and websites, e-mail sites, etch. Yes. I totally understand that most of the revenue comes in from advertisements. But please understand the position of pious muslims. We are forbidden to look at any images. But that does not mean we stay away from webpages right? ALLAH ALMIGHTY has stressed the importance of acquisition of knowledge. Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and all the prophets sent by the ALMIGHTY) said that 'The blood of the scholar is holier than the blood of the Martyr'. So you can understand how much importance has been emphasized upon the acquisiton of knowledge in Islam.
Suffice it to say that I am requesting the websites and anyone related with the internet to keep no images in the first page of their website and ask beforehand whether one needs images or not in the following pages. Depending on the question one can eliminate the images. Now I understand we do require some photos obtained for research or any other useful purposes. Such images or photos can be allowed as folders or additions. I am sure you geeks out there can figure out what I am saying and provide pretty easy solutions for my problem.
One e-mail site from India, rediff.com needs special mention here as it never transmits any images in general e-mails and has kept an option in the way I am requesting other web-publishers to do. My hats-off to rediff for their understanding of the sentiments of people like me. Jazakum ALLAHU Khairan (May ALLAH ALMIGHTY reward you for your sincere and true efforts). ALLAH Hafeez.
